Cute, Great Story

I really enjoyed this one! Quick read, with a really cute story and fun characters. The hero and heroine are perfectly matched and love how it ended!

Tamara Gill’s novella, My Virtuous Duke, is a delightful blend of wit, romance, and unexpected desire. Set against the backdrop of Regency England, this charming story introduces us to Dashing Arthur Winter, Duke Beaufort, who desperately needs an heir. However, the path to marriage proves as intricate as a waltz.

Enter Lady Deandra Coleridge, Arthur’s best friend and confidante. Her quick wit and unwavering loyalty make her the perfect ally in his quest to win the heart of a debutante. But when a simple kiss ignites a passion neither of them anticipated, the lines between friendship and desire blur.

Gill weaves a tale where love takes the lead, and readers will find themselves rooting for Arthur and Deandra. Despite the novella’s brevity, the characters are richly developed, and their chemistry sizzles off the pages. The Friends-to-Lovers trope is beautifully executed, leaving readers swooning and eager for more.

My Virtuous Duke is a gem that proves love knows no bounds, even within the confines of society’s rules. Gill’s writing is elegant, evoking the Regency era with finesse. Whether you’re a seasoned romance reader or new to the genre, this novella is a must-read.
