Miss Felicity’s Dilemma by Eileen Dreyer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Loved this series and the tie in with all of the different characters. I enjoy dynamic characters that interweave within the series. The main characters were great and a lot of fun. Would read again!
As a devoted reader of historical romance, I was utterly charmed by Miss Felicity’s Dilemma! Eileen Dreyer weaves a captivating tale set in the Regency era, where propriety and passion collide.
🎹 Miss Felicity Chambers, our spirited heroine, takes on the role of a piano and deportment teacher at Miss Manville’s Academy for Superior Girls. Her life is orderly, her dreams modest—until a certain duke enters the scene. But this isn’t your typical fairy tale. The duke’s intentions are far from ordinary.
👑 Lord Flint Bracken, the duke’s son, is tasked with an unusual mission: court the penniless schoolteacher. Yet, beneath the veneer of duty lies a man with secrets and a heart yearning for more. Sparks fly, witty banter ensues, and their chemistry is positively electric.
🏰 The backdrop of national security, unexpected alliances, and a touch of danger adds layers to the romance. Dreyer’s writing is elegant, her characters well-drawn, and the pacing keeps you turning pages late into the night.
🌹 Why five stars?
Character Depth: Felicity and Flint are multidimensional, flawed, and utterly endearing.
Plot Twists: Just when you think you know where the story is headed, Dreyer throws in delightful surprises.
Romantic Tension: The slow burn between Felicity and Flint is exquisite.
Regency Atmosphere: The details transport you to a ballroom, a moonlit garden, or a clandestine meeting.
That Slap!: Felicity’s reaction to Flint’s audacious proposal—priceless!
📚 If you adore historical romance with strong heroines, dashing heroes, and a dash of intrigue, Miss Felicity’s Dilemma is a must-read. Prepare for stolen glances, stolen kisses, and a love that defies convention.
