The Virgin and the Vixen by Eliana Piers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Entertaining story and great for a quick read! This one was really cute in how the characters were brought together and that scene in Colin’s bedroom!!!
In The Virgin and the Vixen, Eliana Piers invites readers into a world of intrigue, passion, and unexpected connections. Lady Della Easton, the vixen, has never done an improper thing in her entire life. Lord Colin, the virgin, has never been with a woman. Their paths cross during a Regency summer, and fate weaves a delightful tale.
Della, forever in love with her best friend, decides to move on and let fate determine her future. Meanwhile, the shy Lord Colin, emboldened by his brothers’ engagements, confesses his love to Della, only to discover she wants friendship. Undeterred, he tests fate, hoping it will bring him a wife.
Eliana’s prose sparkles, capturing the lush Regency setting. Della and Colin’s banter is sweet and spicy, their stolen moments filled with tension. This novelette is a delightful blend of wit, charm, and enchantment.
