My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved this series and the fun element of smuggling that the characters introduced. The dynamics and drama between the main characters was interesting and fun, too! Would read again, and it pulled me into reading the entire series.

Barbara Monajem’s The Smuggler’s Escape swept me away to a world of clandestine operations, heart-pounding suspense, and smoldering romance. 🌹🔍

🌊 Noelle de Vallon, an aristocrat fleeing the guillotine in France, finds refuge in Sussex. Feisty and resourceful, she takes charge of the local smuggling trade, doubling their profits. But when betrayal threatens their plans, a man from her past emerges—a man she’d rather forget. 😱💔

🕵️‍♂️ Richard, Lord Boltwood, returns to England with a mission: to catch a spy. The prime suspect? None other than Noelle. Their paths collide, and old wounds resurface. Can they trust each other? Can they unravel the web of secrets and danger? 🕶️🔎

Monajem’s prose is as intoxicating as the sea air, and her characters leap off the page. Noelle’s determination and Richard’s brooding charm make for an irresistible duo. 🌅💕

If you crave adventure, passion, and a dash of mystery, The Smuggler’s Escape is your ticket. Prepare to lose sleep—because once you start, you won’t want to put it down! 📚🌙
