My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Last book in another amazing series. I enjoyed this one a lot and would definitely read again!

From the moment I delved into the pages of this delightful novel, I was transported to a world of ballrooms, scandalous secrets, and undeniable passion. Tamara Gill weaves a captivating tale of love, longing, and second chances.

👑 Josh Worthingham, Duke of Penworth, is duty-bound to find a suitable bride. But fate has other plans when he crosses paths with the spirited and unconventional Miss Iris Cooper. She’s not the typical lady he expected, but her wit, resilience, and vulnerability steal his heart. Their stolen kisses in dimly lit drawing rooms left me breathless!

🌹 Iris, despite her scars from a failed marriage, dreams of a love that defies societal norms. Her connection with the Duke is electric, and their chemistry leaps off the pages. Will their differences and Josh’s hidden past shatter their chance at happiness?

📖 Tamara Gill’s writing is exquisite, painting vivid landscapes and evoking emotions. The tension between Josh and Iris crackles, and their journey toward love is both heartwarming and heart-wrenching. I laughed, I cried, and I rooted for their happily ever after.
