Lord Satyr by Jade Lee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Loved this series so much! The characters are really fun and the tension between the main characters was really interesting. Would read again!
In the enchanting world of the Lords of the Masquerade, Lord Sayres stands out—a man seeking substance amidst a sea of frivolity. His past entanglements no longer bind him; instead, he craves something fresh, something entirely new. Enter Lady Gwen, a bluestocking with an affinity for botany. When their paths cross, sparks fly, and not just because of the chemistry between them.
What I Loved:
Unique Pairing: Jade Lee masterfully pairs an aristocrat with a neuroatypical, on-the-shelf spinster. Their differences create a delightful tension that keeps you turning pages.
Botanical Magic: The way Gwen and Sayres bond over flowers is nothing short of magical. Their shared love for botany adds depth to their relationship.
Warm-Fuzzy Acceptance: Amidst societal norms, this book champions acceptance and kindness. Gwen’s quirks and Sayres’ determination to see beyond appearances make their love story heartwarming.
Regency Charm: The Regency era comes alive through Lee’s vivid descriptions. Ballrooms, whispered secrets, and stolen glances—everything you’d expect and more.
